About Us
It's time for a new change
Decora opened in 1982 as Surat's first interior showroom, and four decades on the promise is unchanged: honest materials, patient advice and fitting done by our own hands. From drapes and wallcoverings to flooring and furniture, we have grown alongside the homes of south Gujarat, room by room at City Light.
“Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love.”
Nate Berkus
From the founders
Two names, one promise.
“We never really sold products. We sold the pause before you say, this finally feels like home.”
“Products fade from memory. The feeling they gave you never does. That is the only receipt we ever cared about.”
Questions we are asked
Forty years of the same questions.
The things people ask at the door, answered before you make the trip.

Six floors on Murlidhar Road, each one given to a different part of a home. Mattresses on the ground floor, then rugs, bed and linen, blinds and accessories above it, curtains and upholstery on the next, and higher still wallpaper, wooden flooring, ceilings and acoustic sheets.
All of it, and with our own team throughout. Curtains, blinds and upholstery are cut to your dimensions in your chosen material, and the same people who stitch them are the ones who turn up to hang them. Bring your own measurements, or simply ask us to take them.
More than a hundred houses, both national and international, among them Asian Paints, D'decor, Quick Step, Mikasa and Ellementary, alongside wall coverings and flooring that no other showroom in the city carries.
Constantly. Practices across south Gujarat specify Decora because a single showroom covers every surface in a project and a single team measures, stitches and fits all of it, so nothing is left waiting on a second vendor.
It depends entirely on material and area, so nothing here carries a fixed price. Tell us about the room and what you want it to feel like, and you get a written quote for that exact room rather than a generic rate card.
Since 1982, when it opened as the first interior product showroom in Surat. Families who first walked in with their parents now walk in with their own children.
What clients say
“I specify Decora on almost every residential project I take. One showroom for every surface, and one team that measures and fits it all themselves.”
“Wallpaper for every room of our new house came from Decora, and their own people hung all of it inside in two days.”
“We design luxury hotels and resorts across India and the US. Decora is our trusted partner where we get everything under one roof.”
“One visit settled the whole scheme. Rugs, curtains and flooring that actually agree with each other instead of competing.”
“Families who first walked in with their parents now walk in with their children.”
